The Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Algeciras (1968-71), designed and built by architect Fernando Garrido Rodríguez (1930-2021), is the seventh installment of 'Episodios de arquitectura moderna de la provincia de Cádiz', launched seven years ago by the Governing Board of our Association in its commitment to highlight some of the most outstanding works built in the province throughout the 20th century, paying a well-deserved tribute to their authors.
All with an exciting goal: to connect members across different generations and professional fields through architecture so that, through their explorations and designs, they can contribute to society's understanding and appreciation of modern values.
Activity subsidized by the Ministerio de Vivienda y Agenda Urbana.
