Falla 150th Anniversary Program
Works by Falla, Albéniz, Ravel, Faurè and Elgar
José Alberto Sancho - Piano
Orquesta y Coral de la Universidad de Cádiz
Juan Manuel Pérez Madueño - Conducting
The landscape imagined by Manuel de Falla and that great generation of composers who coexisted in turn-of-the-century Paris drew inspiration, among their preferences, from the shades of backlit nature and the colorism of Spanish folklore. Music that proposes a journey from evocative Provence, culminating in the transfigured sensuality of Andalucía.
