LA MUJER ROTA by Simone de Beauvoir
With ANABEL ALONSO
Directed by: Heidi Steinhardt.
Anabel Alonso stars in this monologue based on the acclaimed work by Simone de Beauvoir, a critique of the lack of individualisation in the figure of women, who for years have been defined through the "other". Once again under the direction of Heidi Steinhardt, Anabel becomes Murielle, who is alone in her house while New Year's Eve is celebrated in the street. The noise from the street and the shouts of her celebrating neighbours prevent her from sleeping. In her sleeplessness, her memories clash with a bleak present and an even worse future. What has been lost, stolen, the failure and the loneliness have left her out of the game.
