- Loli Pavón, Councillor for Citizen Participation
Mayor's Commitment to the Community
This meeting is part of a series of visits that the mayor and his Government Team regularly make to different neighborhood associations across the city. The purpose of these visits is to learn first-hand about the concerns and needs of each area in order to offer effective solutions as quickly as possible.
During the meeting, the mayor committed to residents to implement immediate improvements in areas such as urban maintenance, lighting and other demands raised by the residents' association.
Ongoing Urban Planning Projects
Likewise, Bruno García reminded residents that progress is being made in collaboration with the municipal housing company, Procasa, and the Technical Office of the Urban Planning Department of the Ayuntamiento de Cádiz. They are working on an urban plan for the area, which aims not only to improve the original project, but also to find solutions for rehousing residents during the works.
The municipal Government Team considers this action a priority, making efforts to secure the necessary funding to carry out this important improvement project in the community.
