Cádiz welcomes Christmas with Bluey, music and a light show in San Juan de Dios

Plaza de San Juan de Dios will be the epicenter of Christmas celebrations in Cádiz this Saturday, November 30, when the party kicks off at 18:00 with a show featuring the beloved children's character Bluey. Aimed especially at the little ones, Bluey will offer a performance full of animation and dancing.

The Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, under its campaign «Una Navidad de cine», kicks off festivities that will run until January 5, with almost a hundred activities scheduled to reach every corner of the city.

During the opening day, at 19:00 the main event will take place in Plaza de San Juan de Dios, where the band Virgen del Rosario will star in a light and sound show that will be repeated daily throughout Christmas. As part of the event, violinist Lolo Alonso will perform well-known soundtracks from children's films. In addition, Bluey will be in charge of flipping the switch to illuminate the show.

The celebration will continue with the switching on of the light and sound show in Plaza de la Catedral, which will also offer daily shows during the holidays.

The evening will conclude with the «Puro Cádiz» concert at 21:00 in Plaza de la Catedral. This flamenco Christmas carol show will feature prominent local artists such as May Fernández, Anabel Rivera, Reyes Martín, and others, accompanied on guitar by Pelu Monje and Alejandro Mendoza.
