The Andalusian beach tennis tournament will take place this weekend in Cádiz.

Next week, the charming La Victoria beach in Cádiz will host the exciting Campeonato de Andalucía de Tenis Playa 2024. From April 12 to 14, this event will bring together 150 participants from different corners of the region, promising exciting sports matches by the sea.

Last Tuesday, the Ayuntamiento de Cádiz hosted the official presentation of the championship. The event was attended by the Sports Councillor, Carlos Lucero, the tournament director, Carlos Sánchez Álvarez, and the prominent player Paloma Caballero.

Carlos Lucero emphasized the importance of hosting sports events of this caliber in the city and thanked the hard work of the tournament director and the Club de Tenis Playa La Victoria de Cádiz, led by Carlos Sánchez.

“We are sure that this championship will be a complete success, taking advantage of the potential of such a spectacular location as our La Victoria beach. We hope that the participants not only enjoy the competition, but also our delicious gastronomy and the charm of the city of Cádiz,” stated the Sports Councillor.

On the other hand, the tournament director highlighted the importance of this event, which will bring together the best players in this sports discipline and will serve as a qualifier for the Campeonato de España.

In addition to them, representatives from the Club de Tenis Playa La Victoria de Cádiz were also present at the event, including Antonio Prieto and Alba Guillén.
