MK2 Bahía de Cádiz opens premium screens with 4K technology and reclining seats

On Friday, May 30, the MK2 Bahía de Cádiz cinema opens its doors to the city's first premium cinema screens. These three auditoriums have been fully renovated and equipped with the latest projection technology, offering an innovative and comfortable moviegoing experience.

One of the screens features state-of-the-art reclining seats, while the other two offer high-quality seating so audiences can enjoy the top releases. MK2 Bahía de Cádiz thus completes the first phase of its transformation into a premium cinema, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The new auditoriums are equipped with 2K projection technology and 7.1 sound, as well as 3D technology. One of them offers an even higher projection quality in 4K UHD. This makes MK2 Bahía de Cádiz the city's first premium cinema, a screen model that is increasingly in demand among moviegoers.

The cinema chain began the total renovation of its auditoriums earlier this year, aiming to offer a programme that combines major blockbusters with more independent proposals and special seasons of classics, cult films, operas, secret screenings and special events.

MK2 Bahía de Cádiz maintains its commitment to moviegoers by offering the Tarjeta 5, which allows individual users and families to go to the cinema at a reduced price every day of the year. The grand opening of the premium screens coincides with the arrival of the first big releases of the spring-summer season, such as Misión Imposible: Sentencia Final and Lilo & Stitcho La Trama Fenicia, by Wes Anderson.
