Renfe confirms the fourth Cádiz-Madrid train for June.
It was this Friday, April 19, when the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, made the announcement.
Starting in June, Cádiz will have a new rail link to Madrid, in response to a long-standing demand addressed by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente. The announcement includes the introduction of Avril trains into the Renfe fleet, with improvements to high-speed connections from Madrid to Logroño and Teruel.
In addition, increases in the frequency of Alvia trains to destinations such as Cádiz, Algeciras, Salamanca, and Badajoz were reported, as well as between Barcelona and Alicante. These improvements will not only have a positive impact on Galicia and Asturias, but also on regions such as Madrid, Andalucía, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, La Rioja, Aragón, Cataluña, and Comunidad Valenciana.
Puente also highlighted the connection to Almería via Granada and the introduction of new AVLO services from Madrid to Sevilla and Málaga.
